Campbell Christian's Elementary School offers classes from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We strive to inspire success in our elementary students by providing a firm foundation in all aspects of their primary education and nurturing mind, body and soul.
We recognize that the God-given talents and gifts of each child are different and that children at this age achieve the highest standards through differentiated instruction. Our teachers utilize a variety of methods and activities targeted at varied learning styles using auditory, visual, and kinetic modalities.
We also strongly believe in the value of a wholesome learning environment and the support that both parents and staff provide to our young students. The entire Campbell Christian community works hard to promote the whole spiritual, social, emotional, academic, and physical well-being of each and every child that attends our Elementary School.

Our teachers and administrators meticulously screen our curriculum on a regular review cycle. Among the many considerations we take into account, our Elementary School curriculum must meet the following criteria:
Provide a wide variety of activities, lessons, and resources to challenge each child
Meet or exceed the Academic Standards
The concepts and lessons do not undermine our faith as Christians
We take students of all abilities and help them to form a love of learning, an appreciation for God’s gifts, and a desire and ability to achieve.
Although we care just as much about the spiritual, social, emotional, and health development of your child as we do about their academic growth, we have not forgotten that learning is both a crucial and necessary goal of schools! We are a school that values challenging academics, however, we do not just accept academically gifted children. Our goal is to meet each child where they are at academically, challenge them, and see them improve at any level.
To ensure that we continue to meet these goals and in accordance with our accreditation requirements, students undergo testing in April of each year. Prior to 2012, our students took the Stanford Achievement Tests and on average have scored in the top 15% to 20% nationally.
We now use the Terra Nova Standardized Test as adopted by ASCI which also provides online reporting and immediate access to testing results. With integrated assessment and reporting, we can quickly identify student strengths and weaknesses and use this data to drive and improve instructional practices. Content covered is reading, language, mathematics, science, and social studies. For more information, visit CTB/McGraw Hill TerraNova.
