After School Programs

The extended care program has been designed to provide a service for parents whose children need supervision before or after school.  The primary objective of this program is to provide a safe and wholesome environment for children.  Physical activities, homework time, and arts & crafts are major components of the program.  Parents also have the option of enrolling their children in one of the after-school enrichment activities available on campus.

The school board has approved the expansion of sports in grades 4-6 slated for the Fall of 2012 on a limited basis.  A greater variety of programs will be included once our gymnasium is completed (expected in April 2013).  In order to facilitate this new program, the school has contracted with US Sports Coaching to work with our new coordinator, Mr. Aaron Walls, to discuss, plan, and implement sports programs in these grades.  As a first step, we are planning to implement US Sports Coaching programs as part of our summer program beginning in June 2012.  As programs are finalized, we will be posting information about which sports will be available for the 2012-2013 academic year.
