
Mrs. Edie Wong began her teaching career at CCS in 2003; however, she has been teaching in both public and private schools, and on several continents for over 25 years. Mrs. Wong has taught every grade from kindergarten through tenth during her career as a teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Indiana University as well as a Master of Arts degree in Education with special emphasis in curriculum from California State University at Bakersfield. She has also been trained in Slingerland the multisensory approach to language arts. Her teaching experience and kind demeanor, quintessential community building between parents and their children bolsters our exceptional kindergarten program.

Mrs. Christina Aronen began her teaching career at CCS in 1994. She returned to CCS in 2005. She attended Pepperdine University and graduated from National University with a Bachelor degree in Liberal Arts and then went on to receive her Master of Arts degree in Education from California State University at Fresno. She has two sons that are CCS alumni. She is a certified Barton Dyslexia tutor as well as a classroom Slingerland trained teacher. Mrs. Aronen has many years of experience in helping students address their dysgraphia through the use of the Slingerland handwriting method and "Handwriting Without Tears".
Both teachers use a variety of technology to enhance their teaching.

Mrs. June Wong began her teaching tenure at Campbell Christian Schools in 2004. Mrs. J. Wong taught second grade for three years at Tabernacle Christian School in Concord before coming to CCS. Mrs. J. Wong has a degree in Asian American Studies and a minor in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara. June is trained in Slingerland a multisensory approach to language arts. She has a gift for giving individual attention to detail to each of her students. June has a daughter that attends CCS.

Mrs. Shelley Lautenslager is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Child Development. She has been teaching at CCS since 2000. Shelley is trained in the multisensory approach to language arts through Slingerland integration along with Saxon phonics and Math. She is enthusiastic seeing students learn academically, flourish socially, and grow spiritually. Mrs. Lautenslager also assists with our Spring Musical. Shelley has a daughter that attends CCS.

Mrs. Karen Saloman came to the CCS staff in August 2007, but prior to this school, she taught third grade for two years at Calvary Chapel Christian School in San Jose. Mrs. Saloman has worked in Los Altos Christian School with grades 1-6. She also worked in the Cupertino School District for over six years. Mrs. Saloman has a Bachelor degree in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University. Her diverse background and outgoing personality gives her the knowledge and understanding to be an outstanding first grade teacher. Mrs. Saloman's goals are to find new and creative ways to develop your child academically as well as spiritually. Karen has two grown daughters.

Mrs. Sharon Garibaldi is a kind and caring teacher. She graduated from North Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in English. She has been at CCS since 1988. She has a passion for teaching second grade reading skills, writing and systematic skill development in mathematics. Mrs. Garibaldi strives for perfection in her teaching and seeks the best from her students. Sharon has 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren, one of which attends CCS. Her husband is a retired teacher and she has 4 teachers between her daughter, son, and daughters-in-law. This is one family who loves children and education.

Mrs. Lena Dorsey joined our staff in 2000. She has a degree from Santa Clara University, one from San Jose Christian College, and is currently attending Bethany University for continuing education on her Masters Degree in Education. She is a Barton trained tutor in Reading and Language development as well as the implementation of Workshop Way in her classroom. She has the unique ability of being both fun and challenging in her second grade classroom. She has two children that are attending CCS.

Ms. Gail Griffin attended Pepperdine University and holds a degree from San Jose State University. As a third grade teacher, she has a reputation for being able to bring the best out of children. She has taught for over twenty-five years, all but one of them at CCS. She has personally mentored two of our current teachers Shelley Lautenslager and Dustin Keirstead. Gail has been honored by San Jose Magazine as educator of the year for 2006. She has a quiet patient manner. Children are turned on even with difficult content, since she is able to work on various levels and plans for individual differences and learning styles.

Mr. Dustin Keirstead has been teaching 3rd grade at Campbell Christian since November of 2006. Prior to this, he worked in the CCS Extended Care and Summer program, beginning in 2004. He is a graduate of Bethany University's teacher program, and completed his undergraduate work at San Francisco State University. He is a member of Valley Christian's graduating class of 2000, and a native of the Evergreen District in San Jose. An avid San Jose Sharks fan and world traveler, Mr. Keirstead brings a jovial personality to an already exciting classroom.

Mrs. Valerie Peters has earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Masters Degree in Education at Santa Clara University. She taught for Santa Clara Unified for eleven years before coming to CCS. She first served as school librarian for three years before returning to the fourth grade classroom. What she enjoys most about teaching is getting to know the children as individuals and seeing the light bulbs come on as they learn! All three of her children are CCS alumni.

Mrs. Mary Ann Indinoli has been at CCS since 1991. She has a degree from Westminster College and a Master's Degree from Abilene Christian University as a reading specialist. She is a pleasant and kind person who loves life. She often spends time attending her students and former students’ games, recitals and plays. She is an extreme contributor to the children’s theatre production here at CCS in 5th and 4th grades. Children enjoy their time in her classroom with her lively stories and her ability to explain difficult math concepts at any level. She enjoys traveling and has visited or lived on five continents. She is a member of the Daybreak Board. She is active member of the Campbell Church of Christ

Mrs. Patrizia Palomino arrived at Campbell Christian in August, 2007. However, she has extensive experience in schools teaching mostly 5th grade. Her resume includes teaching at a school for missionary children in Costa Rica prior to spending 12 years as a teacher for Bethesda Christian School in Texas. Mrs. Palomino has an AA in Practical Theology from Christ for the Nations Institute, a Bachelors Degree in Theology and Education from Dallas Baptist University, and a Masters Degree in Education from Texas Christian University. Mrs. Palomino loves children and believes that school should be fun. She utilizes the Bible, Houghton Mifflin, McGraw Hill, Saxon Math, Abeka and Modern Curriculum Press in her classroom.
