Summer Programs
Elementary (completed K-5th grade)
Summer is fun at CCS. Our ten-week elementary summer program is designed to be an educational, fun experience for children who have completed grades K-5. We integrate an academic review component to assist in maintaining current grade equivalency during the summer months, balanced with a variety of recreational activities, including swimming, outdoor activities, weekly field trips, and service projects in a fun, Christ-centered learning environment.
The Summer Program includes field trips to both fun and educational destinations. Field trips in the past have included: Marine World in Vallejo, Aqua Adventure Water Park in Fremont, Waterworld California in Concord, Gilroy Gardens in Gilroy, Great America in Santa Clara, Raging Waters in San Jose, the Tech Museum in San Jose, and the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
Academic classes include Bible, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Computer Lab. There are also classes in Sports Instruction and Art.

Preschool
The Preschool Summer Program emphasizes fun with a new theme every week such as Camping, Under the Sea, Space/Planets, Western, etc. Theme weeks vary from year to year, but all are enhanced by special guests like puppeteers, pony pictures, The Bird Lady, and more.
Summer is a great time to enhance experiences with water and sand play, extending hands-on, active learning opportunities. If your child will be new to the school in the fall, summer is a great time for them to make new friends and have a great time, too!

Infant/Toddler
The infant/toddler program is a year-around program; it continues as usual during the summer months.
