Extended Care

extended care program

Our extended care program offers before and after school childcare for Elementary students.

Our before school care begins at 7:00 AM. The students enjoy supervised free time where they can participate in activities such as Foosball, reading, art, and Legos. At 7:45, they are taken by a teacher to participate in Flag Salute and Morning Prayer before going to class.

Our after school program begins at 3:00 PM and runs until 6:00 PM.

Daily Schedule (Monday-Thursday)

3:00 PM—healthy snack provided by school and outdoor play

3:30 PM—Homework time: Students in grades 1-5 are given 30 minutes of dedicated time to work on homework assignments. Kindergartners receive opportunities to hone their fine motor skills with art projects and their listening skills with story time.

4:00 PM—Activity Centers: During this hour, students are allowed to pick and choose between counselor-led activities focusing on physical activity, creativity, and games. During this time, students work on skills like teamwork, strategy, imagination, and storytelling. As they participate in these activities, they create lasting friendships with their peers and are mentored by their counselors.

5:00 PM—During the final hour of Extended Care, students are given free time where they can play cards and board games, build with blocks and Legos, and create with a variety of mediums in our Art Area.

Since there is no homework on Fridays, Extended Care plans a group activity where all the students participate together. In the past, there have been game shows, Spartan Races, dance parties, and Capture the Flag.

After-School Electives

After-school enrichment classes offer families a great opportunity for their children to learn new skills in a safe and fun environment. The best part is parents can choose activities that are tailored to the individual child. Students may also change between classes at the end of each session, which provides students the opportunity to explore various enrichment classes as time permits. The classes below are offered to our students for a fee.
