Campbell Church of Christ
The ministers and staff of Campbell church are deeply involved in a variety of school activities. They are committed to providing a well-rounded experience for students - collaborating with the school on fundraising initiatives, spiritual enrichment, coaching team sports, teaching chapel, leading worship, providing fellowship events, and more. Through this partnership, our aim is to help promote a strong sense of belonging and unity in a supportive environment conducive to personal and spiritual development.
Ministry for Nursery through 5th Grade:
Sunday Worship:
- Infants can attend worship with their parents at 9:00 or they can be with other children in our staffed nursery.
- Preschoolers and elementary-aged children stay in worship service until the option to be dismissed to their specific age group offering. This allows for parents to model worship and worship together as a family.
- At dismissal, preschoolers have the option to join other preschoolers in their own themed rooms for worship and to learn more about God by experiencing a Bible story, crafts, and snacks.
- Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to KidZone, an exciting place to enjoy worship, activities, and an interactive Bible lesson.
Bible Class Opportunities:
- Bible classes for all ages are offered at 10:30 am. This is a great time for kids to find a place of belonging with their peers and learn more about God.
- For parents, there are several class offerings, including a “Parent’s Connection” class. All Bible class groups welcome couples and singles, offering support, belonging, and opportunities for spiritual growth.
During the Week:
- Chapel for Campbell Christian junior high students is led by the church's student ministers, Bryan and Lauren Shrader. Jeff Dumo, the church's worship minister, leads worship for junior high chapel.
- Chapel worship for Campbell Christian elementary students is led by Mrs. Marian. All parents are invited and coffee is available - you can come worship with your child and get to know other parents!
Throughout the year:
- Community events such as Easter activities, Trunk-n-Treat, and Cocoa with Santa. These are a great way to share time with your kids as well as get to know other families in the community.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Marian Parker, their children’s minister.
Ministry for 6th-12th Grades:
Campbell Student Ministry is a church-led ministry for 6th through 12th graders. They have Bible class each Sunday following worship service, mid-week activities, a summer camp, a fall retreat, and various service opportunities throughout the year. The student ministry exists for students to grow closer to one another and in their relationship to God.
Bryan and Lauren are heavily involved at Campbell Christian Schools. In addition to leading junior high chapel, they coach sports teams, attend CCS events, and lead a monthly "Eagle Hour" event after school for junior high students. All CCS junior high students are invited to attend Campbell Student Ministry events.
For more information on how to get your student involved, contact Bryan and Lauren Shrader at students@campbellchurch.org.
