Junior High

In addition to our core math, science, history, Bible, and language arts classes, Campbell Christian School provides enrichment classes for our junior high school students.

Required Enrichments

Digital Citizenship: 6th grade students (along with 7th & 8th grade students who are new at CCS) are enrolled in a weekly digital citizenship class to teach them responsibility in managing their digital life. This class includes instruction on several media topics, such as cyber safety, search engine utilization, research, email scams, and computer viruses.

Physical Education & Health: CCS offers a comprehensive Physical Education program designed to provide students with the knowledge, habits, and attitudes that will equip them for a fit and healthy life. This includes health and nutrition education, fitness activities and sports skills. Some of the units covered are: Physical Fitness and components, Tchouckball Create-A-Game, Basketball, Indoor Hockey, Badminton, Volleyball, Soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee.

Chapel

Our junior high teachers work in coordination with the worship leader and youth ministers of Campbell Church of Christ to provide a bi-weekly chapel program for students in junior high. In addition, youth ministers from around the Bay Area are invited as guest speakers to deliver applicable lessons to our junior highers based on our yearly school-wide chapel theme. This is a great time for our students to grow closer to God and one another through worship music, prayer, and relatable lessons from God's word.
